There are many software vendors in the field service space. Some platforms serve many different industries and types of contractor organizations, while others are more specialized by company size and business types (residential, commercial).
These technology companies are generally described as field service management (FSM) tools. Each technology vendor provides a comprehensive tool for field service companies, including scheduling, task management, inventory tracking, billing, service reporting, and more. Certain vendors are included in a broader network of ERP systems, Construction applications, and CRM providers.
The marketplace for field service platforms and guided technician training is maturing, drawing larger PE and consolidator focus from brands including Microsoft, Salesforce, Oracle, Meta, and other cloud-based providers. Coaching Networks
